Hello all Just bought a silver 172 Cup about 4 hours ago. This seemed like a good place to start understankding what to expect from the car.....

Welcome to the club. Silver cups are rarer but less coveted than the common blue ones, what's the plan for it?

I bought it as a stop gap whilst i replace a VW T5 with an newer van... It was local to me and for the money thought it was a good shout.

I have friends who compete in hill climbs, and a few Clios compete - this may be part of my plan.

I'm already thinking that I'll just hang on to it and hide it in the back of the garage out of line of sight so its goes unnoticed by the Mrs!

Cool. I look forward to seeing the photos. Very few silver Cups around. I will put some updated pictures of mine on this week as completed a few bits to it. Needs a good clean, but ran out of time today.
