172 cup offset

does anyone know the offset for a 172 cup is it 45 or 40 and would a 40 off set be ok.

ET37 iirc. 40 would be fine but you'll be narrowing your track by a few mm.

we've got 4 172cups in the workshop at the moment and they all have ET38.5 stamped on the wheels

So whats the difference between ET38.5 and ET40 ?????


Would ET 40 have more chance of rubbing on a 172 lowered on Sportlines ?

If the Cup is ET 38.5 ?

et40 sticks inwards and the lesser the number, et38.5 sticks further outwards.
