Gents,
Im after really some advice on what type of power increases some components have.

Cams
Higher Compression Pistons - KTEC
Air Filters
Bigger Injectors
Remaps
Milltek Exhaust, 182 Manifold and Sports Cat

Some may have all these components im interested in seeing what power gains this has given you

Also other with other components interest in see what gains you have had from yours

If your looking at spending at that money i'd go with:

ITB's
Cams
Yozzasport race Exhaust with decat and 182 manifold.
Custom Map

Should see 220bhp if set up right.

Save the money rather than spending on mods and buy a faster car? ;)

But thats boring. Theres nothing better than a wee Clio turning over something it shouldnt. It really really winds up the 'opposition' when you do which makes it all the more satisifying :cool: - no one likes to be done by French :D


Forget cams and ITB's just now imo. Hang on till the Supercharger kits and supercup inlet project comes out.

Cams - depends which ones......
Higher Compression Pistons - KTEC - will relate to the cams you choose, might not need them
Air Filters - dont contribute much 2bhp max, get a KTEC panel one
Bigger Injectors - again depends on the above
Remaps - go to see Paul @RStuning in leeds, you should see 8bhp and 10lb/ft of torque, but do this after you have fitted cams
Milltek Exhaust, 182 Manifold and Sports Cat - exhuast wont gain much, but sounds immense, 182 manifold dont bother, slight increase in midrange torque, dont bother with sports cat either just fit a decat

I would also suggest having your inlets matched. If i were you i'd copy myself with:

schrick cams
matched inlets
panel filter
decat
remap

that lot gained me 20bhp peak over my first ever unmodified run and the power is carried through to 7800rpm rather than tailing off at 6500

super wild cams with high comp piston arent worth it IMO without ITBs. for the amount they would cost you could nearly have ITBs
