172 Cup Prices

Car  Saxo VTS
I'm looking to buy a 172 Cup in a few months time but have a budget of £5000 max.

Is £5000 going to get me a good example? Pref with belts chnaged and good service history, or is this bottom of the barrel 172 Cup money?

Would another £6000 put me in a better price bracket or will this be overpriced?

Cheers.

another 6k and ur talkin 197 money, if u mean 6 in total I think u will get a better chance of buyin a nice serviced cup.

5k is a bit low mate, you wanna be looking around the 6k-6.5k mark for a decent one. i got one 4 months ago, a mint 172 cup with 15,000 miles for 6600

Sorry yeah, meant to say an extra £1000 giving me £6000.

Seems like I might have to borrow some of the parents then as I don't want a shitter.

Cheers for the advice peeps :)

3rd one down is mine ;)

offer me £5,500 and its yours mate.

all belts changed just last week and MOT is getting done at end of month

Some nice lookers there. Seems I'm gonna have to raise the bar a bit :D

DiBraggio, Aberdeen is a bit of a trek lol!

Cheers.

mines up for sale at the weekend, 52/Jan2003 36k, 12 months mot + 6 months tax (as of end of the month) engine/box oils, front pads changed with last 3 months, body work in good cond, apart from two small dents on roof. FSH. 3 owners, washed nearly every weekend religiously. Rs-tuning remap also. £5400, opinions?

These sound like a good buy at the moment. You certainly get your money's worth cos their still the quickest clio ever made (except v6 ofcourse), and they've done the majority of their depreciation by now.
