172 Cup + Recaros = :D

I haven't really taken many pics of my car since I bought it a month or so ago because it's been constantly raining/snowing/dark

But I fitted my recaros today and couldn't help but take a pic

Absolutely chuffed - they suit the car so well

I'll get much better pics with my dSLR tomorrow and some pics of the car too

I knew I'd get asked that - cos it was a bit tricky to get the harnesses in without drilling and fitting backing plates

I'll get the dSLR out tomorrow and take pics of all the mounting points

I got them from demon tweeks last year for my 106 gti

They were somewhere around £700 for the pair I believe

Oh and the seating position is amazing - it's a little bit further to the left so your central to the steering wheel - and it's at least 2-4cm lower than the old seats.
I removed the vibration mount things to drop it as low as it would go - and used the recaro subframes that are lower than the ones they used on the trophy's etc..

As promised some pics of the mounting points for the OMP 3" harnesses

The recaro subframes have a welded nut for the standard seat belt. I fitted some 7/16th eye bolts into them for the inside 2 harness mounting points

In the boot I used some brackets that came with my old recaro subframes for my 106 - bolted them to the isofix points and that allows me to clip the rear 2 harness points to them. I have 3 or 4 of these brackets spare if people need them?

The outside points are where the old seat belt rails used to be - M10 eye bolts from grayston engineering. I got a bit stuck last week cos I thought these were 7/16ths like all the other bolt holes but after a search on here I found they were M10's
