A172 CUP & C172 CUP have both been mentioned on here but as far as i know, no-one on here owns either of them.

First Ive heard of simply "172 CUP" tho - sounds good!

the reg a172cup sold for a grand not so long ago, it is on a cup, a dealer was selling the car with the plate a few months ago,

but its not on here !!

the plate the other day for sale was r172cup, but i dunno if its been auctioned yet.

Im registered for the DVLA auction tomorrow, so by this time tomorrow, I should know if Ive got what Im after...Im just hoping not too many people have registered or are looking for the plate Im interested in, so as to keep the demand/price down to reasonable levels.

What am I after...C110 CUP :)

Well, the standard number plate font used for the 1s could be interpreted as either an L, or I or 1 so its down to how the reader sees it.

Me...I think it says Clio Cup ;)

Tis a smart choice, although Im sure Ive seen that plate before...or at least mentioned a few times? :\

Anyway, I bought A18 TOO for my 182 from DVLA. Only £250 all in so not too bad. A18 TWO had already gone. Damn.

these plates are ok but when you sell the car you have to let the plate go with it so why not just get a name plate that relates to you, i nearly went for a cup plate but decided on something else as at the end of the day most people will know what you drive anyway

Bet it goes for at least £1k!

Hmm, Ive had a plate for the past 4 years and although its a good one - its quite obviously my name - sometimes I wish my parents hadnt bothered. It costs £80 every time you change it to a new car (something Ive had to do twice in the past 8 months). Cant really get rid of it cos it was a 21st birthday present (unfortunately the car it was attached to wasnt part of the present!).

C110 CUP - thats a brilliant reg! I read it straight away as Clio Cup. Dont expect that to go cheap unfortunately...

im in the same boat, i have one as well bought for my 18th, so i dont really wanna sell it,

btw its: cat171? they are my initials !

(sorry for going off topic)

Nah, not me...I had to drop out at £750...no matter how much I want it...Id never get that past my wife!

Never mind...:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
No worries - I dropped out at £450 for the same reason! - especially as I told her I saved over £2k ordering the 182 in the first place!

Christ, £1343... thats 12.2% of what my new 172 is costing me!

Cat171: sentimental values a bugger, isnt it?!
