172 Cup Shiftlight

I never seem to notice the shift light in my 172 cup and it revs so damn fast.

Can I get to the back of the bulbs on the clocks and wire in a separate one somewhere from the light that's currently there?

Yes either take feed off coil pack or rear of clocks, tap into the wire that lights the oem light ip

Is there a specific feed off the coilpack for that light then? I don't suppose you know which wire it is?
