Hi all not had the car too long but I've been away on holiday for 5 days and the cars been un used I've come to it this afternoon and on start up was a little bit hesitant to start but still did fire up first time just not as smoothly as normal oil ok light lit up so thought nothing of it but ..
I've been on a short drive, not hammered the car or anything just took it down motorway a few junctions and come home the long way down country roads from where the car was and it sounds really tappy, I had my window down and inbetween cars and buildings I could hear the engine with a slight tappy noise, so I've pulled up and got a video might not be really clear but I'm dreading someone saying its dephaser time.
If that's the response I get where locally to me (Blackburn, Lancashire) will be a good place to take it and be able to diagnose and do the job proper? For a reasonable price. Going to check the oil level in the morning when it's back cold.
