172 cup toe in setting

  megan R26.R number 006
just a quicky.
172 cup toe setting, is it 0.5 degrees toe in?

thanks

nathan

its down to how you like the car to drive more tow in = a better turn in but more tyre wear i like 0 tow in or tow out it seems to work well for me and my driving style i don't know how the tow in or tow out will be like when i get my car back from GDi after Andy has finished fitting my coilovers i run -2 to -3 deg neg camber on the front and standard camber on the back

  RS RIP
Just had a look at my printout from last time, gone from toe in to toe out. Was less nervous on the straight this way.
0*12' left+right , total 0*24'
Camber which is now still un-adjustable was left at -0*36'

hope this helps.

Thanks again Edde !

cups run zero toe from factory

Explains perhaps why my front tyres are rapidly wearing on the outside. Also to do with driving style i guess...

Ah well, soon i'll be set up properly on coilovers

because you are running factory camber and toe in if I read correctly
and the driving style helps i guess...

if you changed to toe out, this should change
