172 Electrics

Guys I want to get some electric Wing mirrors for my 172, But all these mirrors say is that they are 4 or 3 wire. Which one do I need anyone?

4 or 3 wire? not sure what you mean. i should think the mirror has about 6 wires going to it. the mirror has two motors in it and a heating element so i would have thought at least 6 wires to it. hasnt your car got electric mirrors on it then?

Looks sweet but ive never seen them before.

Ditto. Think they would look good though, But they are universal and have seen some really ill fitting mirrors in my time. Dont want to make the same mistake

the dreaded universal word which normally means they fit like a complete bodge.

Well cant find anywhere that does mirrors that like specifically for my car. In fact cant find anywhere that does any nice mirrors specifically for my car.
