172 engine into 182?

Hi,

After a bit of advice. I've been offered a 172 engine to replace my 182. I believe there a few differences but what do I need to do to drop the 172 engine in? Is it a simple job or will it get messy.

Relativly simple few minor differences in the breather plate but you can swap that from your old (182) engine.

correct, don't replace the cam cover as it's line bored with the head and therefore they come as a matched pair.
