172 engine wanted

I can remeber some saying they could get hold of 172 engines but I cant find the thread through searching. The reason Im asking is my brother has a megane coupe and is thinking about putting a 172 engine in it, does any 1 know who was selling the engines or if this can be done?

they are brand new - £1200 + vat each..........i can sell a 172 conversion kit for £1500 + vat
