172 Exhaust Bore Options

Hi,

Got a cat back system a few months ago and like a t**t I threw away the centre section thinking the back box would fit straight onto the standard centre section. How wrong could a person be lol now im left with a bit of a dilema, I think the back box is 3" bore and I think the standard centre section is 2.25" bore? Whats my best option to get the back box on?

thats the only way I can think you will get the back box on is a sleave with exhaust clamps or welding it.

Have you measured it because 3" seems quite large!?!? The tip may be 3" but I doubt the rest is.

I was hopeing a sleve might do it, I think its 2.5 inches its a little flared. So a sleve frem 2.25" to 2.5" could work??

Tapered sleeve would be my choice.

get it welded up a few times and hopefully it'll come out sounding like jonffs old ph1 (sounded like an absolute monster lol)
