172 exhausts

So the cup I've bought has a standard exhaust (can you believe it).

It's in good condition but I'm contemplating buying another unit. I like the noise of the standard one, it's nice and subtle, no drone at all and that's how I like it.

Anything out there similar that will last longer than the factory unit?

Ktec stealth with the centre silencer (important!), is common. Pure motorsport do a stealth one in various db ratings as well. A lot of 172 exhausts have tailpipes under the bumper which may not be your thing

I want it identical to factory ie out of sight and quiet! Ktecs can be white droney

BTB stealth would be your best option then.

How did you get on with it dude ? What did you buy ?

My dad wants a quiet exhaust for his 172, his standard one's not so good anymore.

Long life will build a stealth one in stainless. Have one and it's not noisy.

Ended up selling it. I would just go with one from eurocarparts
