172 flamer limp mode

Hi team I know A few people have had this problem got the car out of the garage this morning revs jumped up to 2000 nd above engine management light came on centre light came on orange box , and gone into limp mode aa came out and did an obd reading and said accel potentionmonter ,should I change this or could it be loom damage ? That was the only code ?

Does any 1 know price o aceel pedal ?

It's come out of limp mode now over night ,started this morning and it's holding revs between 2k nd 3k any thoughts on this please ?
