172 grille

will a 172 grille fit straight onto a 1.2 16v?

i just think they look a bit meaner!

if so, where can they be obtained, and for how much??

the 1.2 dynamiqe grille has kind of honeycomb shaped slats in it, where as the 172 version is horizontal and vertical slats of thin plastic, like this +++++ instead of like this <><><><>

sorry, but got no pics. lol

anyone know if theyre a straight swap?

Even though i havent noticed, yes they are! Its only the bodykit which is different from the other clios structurely

or, you could heat the original grill to melting point, the slowly feed it through a waffle maker, and only moments later, you will have a 172 grill.

Coz I is a genius.

tell you what would make a difference (im being serious now); between each front fog light, and the black grill below the number plate, the bumper is painted body colour. Now, the fog light surround is black, and so of course is the grill below the bumper. If you were to paint that small section between the two in black, then it would make the car look a little wider at the front. This is difficult to explain without me using a pic of a car or a real one, but i think it would work.
