I have a bit of a problem here.
Phoned my local motor factors for new handbrake cables and they got me them in. Unfortunately they were too short. We have tried 3 on the car now and they are all too short. I ruined the others removing them, so I'm now avoiding parking on hills.
Adjuster is wound back full, they just will not reach. Prob about 1.5" too short. They were going to cost me a tenner each, but it looks like the dealer now, as GSF do not stock them either.
Dealer wants £70 for the pair. Any ideas?
