172 help please asap

I have just bought a 51 reg Sport 172. Should this car have an alarm? And shud it have cruise control? Cos it doesnt have either.



In the brochure on new 172s it says they have them but its a 2003 brochure, and mines a 2001 car. Have the specs changed??

dont think u got cruise then but it should have an alarm, is it an imprt??

If it was a UK car it will have an alarm. Cruise control wasnt fitted until 2003

dont think so @ cruise control and yes if its a uk car im pretty sure it should have an alarm!!

Is there any other differences I can look for to spot if it is an import????

call renault, see if theres a UK warranty on it

Give Renault UK a ring and ask them...it wont affect the car, but it should have been cheaper than a UK Renault dearler car. warranty will be 3 years if it is imported, if the service book is up to date...

Should ba vin number sticker on the passenger door sill (white)
