172 Humming Noise...wtf is it?!!

  172, Westfield
Noticed this morning that after putting the key into the ignition and turning it till the one before the engine fires, Im getting a really strange humming noise from inside the plastic area of the roof that houses the interior light!

It continues once the engine has fired.

Anyone experienced this or have any idea what this might be?!

Whats in that plastic area other than the light and am i right in assuming something to do with the alarm?! Both the light and alarm working as they should however.

Now ive noticed this its all I can hear!

Any ideas before I attempt to take it apart?!!

Cheers

Cheers Ben

ANy idea if this is something you can fix yourself? Just a case of replacing a fan?!

Rather not take it to Renault if I can help it

basically its piss to do , i lost the vdeo but still worked it out

take the interia light out , using a small screw driver to lever it, then disconect the power , now u can pull down the whole lot its held by clips, then u can see the fan , it unclips
