172 import

hi could anyone tell me if my 172 is an import it has a french address on the papers that come with the car ( in the renault folder ) but my car has no other things that make me think otherwise just wondering if there is any other diff

imports have no alarm, no locking wheel nuts and no etching on the windows

check the vin number if it is 17 digit its british if its not 13 i think its an import

Most Uk insurers dion't know if its an import and insure it like a normal Uk spec but if its stolen they will refuse to pay out as it doens't have a CA1 1 alarm as it should.
