172 into a 182

What is the main difference between the 172 and 182 engines. Where did they do to get that extra 10 bhp ?!?!
Is there a mod you can do to make it a 182?!?!

Manifold and exhaust, I think!

the manifold basically, a 182 manifold can be fitted to the 172, but it isn't a straight fit and a link pipe has to be made for the CAT

As above, it's been done by a few, more than possible, try and source a 2nd had manifold, labour is the highest charge.

to be honest its not really worth wasting your money on as 0-60 and top end are pretty
much the same between a 172/182 as you probably already know,
just get a good induction kit and stainless exhaust and be done with it!
