172 making your own itb kit help

hi guys,
is anyone able to tell me if it is possible to diy with the itb side of things, if so details would be great!. I am aware of the k-tec kits was just wondering if there is other maybe cheaper routes

Engine-management also being one of the big concerns. Check out the supercup thread ; it is the new inlet project that comes close to an itb kit, only MUCH cheaper (because for one its using OEM management i believe)

speak to emerald, worth a shout if you fancy some DIY

also speak to activ on here, he used AT bodies instead of the Jenvey's and made some bloody good power, no idea what he spent, but it was mainly DIY and a VERY tidy install, he used Emerald management too

brill Cheers guys, ithis is my first clio 172 as i had a v6 in the past but just sold my evo as it was boring so i made the jump to french as its more fun. Find you lot, alot frendly compare to the jap fourms

Ill be using Emerald in about a year. Dave Walker is meant to be the best mapper in the UK and he specialises in them. Buy Practical Performance Car Magazine, he has a two page article in the back.

keep your eyes open for second hand stuff, i have itb's on my 172 and got it all second hand, paid around £1800 for the lot, including fitting and setup!
