172 metal pedals for 1.2 16v

Does anyone know if the OEM new shape 172s metal pedals would fit a new shape 1.2 16v? Part number????

OK, spoken to my local Renault dealer and they say that the metal pedals cost £80+VAT+FITTING. Can anyone with a MK2 172 post some pics of their pedals so i can work out how they fit on. Do i need to drill through pedals?

I asked about the 172 pedals and they are stupidly priced as they just replace the std ones!

So i bought these and they cost £20 from direct car parts and i am well pleased.

You do need to drill holes for these ones but there are instrutions.

you would have to use the mk1 172 pedal set though, cos the 1.2 16v dont have the fly-by-wire throttle does it? hehehe saying that my mk2 dont have it now either LoL

if you get pedal covers just make sure you bolt or rivet them through the original pedal. Clamp ons are well dodgy!

According to my Renault dealer, MK2 172 ones do! Most of them are muppets though!

So they are a straight fit i.e. no drilling then?
