I would say between 350-400 miles. I got around 370 miles a few weeks ago travelling from Swansea to Lincolnshire.

Driving like a granny I managed to get a consistent 43mpg.. you do the math !

i average 35mpg and its driven pretty hard. on a full tank my trip says i can do approx 350 miles.

never believe those trip comps, especially the how many miles before you stop bit, as i found out trying to get a ferry in france with very little fuel. My mate (scary engineer type) worked out the maths, and proved the trip comp was way out. I will never let it go below 60 miles before u run out.

At 3000 rpm in 5th (70 ish), in my mk1 172, can get about 40 mpg going from yorks to london on a1 or m1.

Around 600km (370mi) but that is driving at either the 120kph (75mph) limit or about 10-20kph (6-12mph) less depending on the incline.

I dont use the trip estimator, but Im getting very good at estimating how much i can keep driving depending on fuel used.

The other week I drove till the fuel used showed 49.1l used (out of a 50l tank) before filling up

i reckon if you travel like an OAP and dont exceed 60mph, you should get over 450 miles...

345 miles it read after I filled up yesterday average on the comp says 30.4 but that average of nearly 4000 miles.
