172 - Misfire

My 2001 Clio 172 has a bad intermittant misfire - feels like a couple of cylinders not firing.

Plugs have been replaced with correct NGK's (the one's removed looked a little worn but a good colour and all even)

Leads been replaced with Magnecor's - still misfiring.

I guess it's one of the many sensors? Any tips

(No error lights showing)

Turned out I'd been hit by this supermarket contaminated fuel thing - O2 sensor changed - running well now (on decent fuel!)

Large bill (£500) on it's way to Asda who have admitted having contaminated fuel at that particular store.

Seem like Renault's in general have been badly hit by this.

sounds same as mine. coil pack was replaced and it was sorted. common prob
