You might need wheel spacers

7-8mm spacer would do nicely - 182 wheels have an ET45.

PS My 182 set are up for grabs.... pls see the F/S section.

I personally think the mk1 is the best looker out of the all the 172/182s. Especially with those OZ F1s on, the 182 wheels look too modern for that shape imo.

Yer wheels may look to modern but i think they still go nicely. my mate has a 182 so i could put his on to see, and see how it drives and go from there. i do like the o.z wheels might get them refrurbished.

I think the 182 wheels go well but nothing beats the f1 cups on a 172 mk1 for me

Eibach Pros IIRC. I was thinking about 182 wheels for mine but settled for Super Ls instead, much better and suit the car a lot more IMO.
