172 mk2 front lights

  Black 172 MK2
Just had my first MOT in my car and the nearside light is too low. The garage i go to couldnt sort it as they are ament to be automaticly adjusting apperntly. Anyway its booked into renault for them to have a look tomoz. Anyone have any idea whats needed to adjust the lights height. Will it be a case of them just turning a screw or not?

by the white thing do you mean the allen key bit?? because theres 2 or 3 of them behind the light :s

Renault can adjust them with there laptop but easy thing is to go under th back of the car and on the back axle on the drivers side (I think) of the suspesnion beam there a little thingie which moves up and down with the suspension when you see it you'll know how to adjust it then adjust it with the light on and the lights will go up and down as applicable. The sensor is sued to detect how much load is in the boot the more load the lower the rear axle the more the sensor tells the headlights to dip down.
