172 MK2 replacing standard alarm

Hey all,
I have booked in for my MK2 172 to have its alarm replaced with a clifford 650.
I am very good friends with the clifford engineer and obviously want to help him out as much as possible.
Is there anything you guys and girls think i should tell him or anything i should mention to him which will aid him in installing this?

Nope, if you want to help, try routing wires neatly, as i have got a mass of wires under my dash for my 650.

hi there buddy i see your replacing your standard alarm,well if you want i would like to buy the siren unit off of you,its located under the scuttle panel,its on a plug so just unclips and pops out,let me know thanks.

Tell him to remove the top of the dash as the fitted alarm is under the passenger airbag. Also tell him, he cant use the Cobra wire for the doors and boot as they are all linked together, but he can use the bonnet switch if he earths the return line out..
(he will know what this means)
