Can you beat that (1x2 owners) - diesel entry not accepted

I have managed a staggering 51.2mpg on a 76mile trip last saturday.

It is not that I wanted to save fuel, but my backbox fell off and the noise and vibration in the car were unbearable so I drove at a leisurely 50ish mph all the way (mostly motorway but also some B roads).

Car now fixed, can return a more usual 30-31mpg

Nice. I'd rather walk 76 miles than try to beat that though. On my hands.

I'm only averaging 38mpg in my diesel lol (I know I can't enter)

33mpg in the 172 atm, it would be a lot lower if my GF didn't drive it most days.

i used to get around 42 but since ive had my inlets matched i cant get over 40.
