172 oil change..I know, I know........

not again but!! I'm feeling guilty, not changed the oil or filter since the last owner had it serviced at around 24k, I'm now on 33k and feeling guilty. Do I leave it or just do it for the sake of 3k?? If so, what's it like to do on a MK2 172 (I have searched but just get "what oil is best"!!). Any tips, like getting to the filter would as always be appreciated (I won't be sticking a screwdriver through it that's for sure!!).

Pro silkline 5-40 is a popular choice it depends what driving you do etc thoough I'd run. I'd not bother chnaging it seems a waste for just 3k.

To get to the filter remove the injector protection cover its only 3 bolts the you cna reach down and get hold of the filter.
