172 Oil

About to do my first oil change in my 172 Ph2... cant wait to feel the difference! - but what oil should I use??? Been advised Magnatec.. es OK??

Well they run with Elf 10W40 semi-synthetic as standard, but any good 10W40 semi that meets ACEA A3 standards will do as a replacement.

Changed mine for the first time last night (at 6k miles) and used 10W40 Castrol GTX Magnatec.



When Ive got more miles on I will be switching to fully synth though...

p.s. What "difference" do you expect to feel after an oil change?!
