Looks spot on height wise IMHO

But the real reason I would recommend changing is how well the car handles with them on.
Havent driven one on non cup shocks though (ours has cup shocks now) so cant comment on how well they match the normal 172 shocks yet but they work very well with cup ones.

That looks superb. I'm looking at a 172 tonight and was reading up on the cooksports and they sound really good! Is it hard to fit the cup shocks or are they a straight swap?

I thought the bolt spacing was different on cup shocks, or is that just 182 cups?

Straight swap, externally they are identical fitment, just slightly firmer

Perfect. Thanks for the info mate! Is there a waiting list for the cooksports? Or can you just order them from somewhere?

PM Josh cook and ask him mate, I know he's had a waiting list a few times but he is doing his best to keep up with demand.
