172 on Motorpoint

My Girlfriend is looking to buy her first car in the coming months. She is 22 with 4 yrs driving experience, she has asked me to do some window shopping for her.

She didnt want my Cup but I think shed have a 172. 11k would be about right but is it a UK Sourced car or an import?

Can anyone help with this question or point me somewhere else or even suggest other small cars, new or used around this price.

Its an import if its at Motorpoint. Youll be okay provided its an EU sourced car.

the reason for the 206 as our company do work for Citroen and Peugeot dealers and we can usually get pretty competitive deals.

I read the article on the SportKas in this months Evo mag. They make them out to be great cars but could handle some extra power but they are supposed to handle great. BUT, in the list you have there I think that it is towards the bottom of the list except for the Corsa. I would go for the 172 to be honest (obviously) and I would stay well away from the Pug 206 (far too many CCs around now, more common than Kas ! Well not quite but you know what I mean ! GTI is just not that quick for the 2.0 16v engine that it carries, not worth the extra fuel consumption) and Corsa (Just dont look good IMHO !). The C2s look pretty good to be fair.

For the money and the spec though it is hard to beat a 172 isnt with the long list of STANDARD options you get with them, but as she is a woman it will come down to her favourite colour ! LOL !

A saw a superb C2 GT today in Red with a big zorst and white 17s. If u aint driven one, then do! No match in performance for a 172 but superb fun!

I sell new fords so she decides to go for a sport ka or street ka give me shout and ill see what i can do. Also the sport ka comes with a years insurance.

well spotted neil - it is, dunno if the car still has the VTS, it popped up every so often at Knockhill.

the GT is superb fun, the VTR is fun too, but I think if it was me, id get annoyed with the sensodrive after a while
