172 ph1 air bag light

Hi Guys,

Is there anyone with ph1 172 thats changed their steering wheel out there, i'm trying to get rid my air bag light off.

How do i do this on the phase one?

Its been covered before

A 4 ohms ressiter sould be perfect. but realy check the airba when you pull it of and get a resister that size.

Get a mult meter on the old bag then.

When I checked it all out it was for a Mk2 phase 2 not checked the offical phase 1 numbers yet.

Does anyone have a diagram for the phase 1 on how the resistors should be set up?

You just plug them into the airbag connector.

Tried it yesterday and it didnt work, thats why i'm asking if anyone has a diagram for the phase 1, As this is not the same as the phase 2.
