172 Ph1 Throttle Body onto 182 Inlet?

No, you need to drill and tap another hole IIRC. Check James' 172 into a R5 project thread.....

You'll have to anyway because the ICV wont fit a 182 plenum either. You could pikey it and screw the idle adjuster out until it idles nice but it's ropey....

  Ph1
Plenum chamber btw not inlet. You'll end up getting a totally different part if you do the online breakers search ;)

You only need the plenum (top part), not the whole inlet and plenum from a ph1 set up. All of the plenums bolt straight up to the RS inlets

yeah all lower manifolds bolt straight on, no issues. The plenum has a few differences, but for this application (going in a mk1) a ph1 plenum will be ideal. 1 bolt will be left out from where plenum is bolted to rocker cover, and there's a couple of pipes different, BUT nothing that matter for this you dont need to consider carbon canister, so the lack of a take-off is actually a bonus.
