172 Phase 2 head lights,

Hi Guys,

Am new here so go easy. My headlights are clouded up on my 172. Have tried to fix a bit with wet and dry and improved slightly.
I think I have xenons but not sure how to tell. I just want some lights that look nicer. Would these be suitable?

I have ordered a headlight restore kit to try, but this is my next option.

If you have a 172 then you should have xenons. So no those lights you found on eBay would be no good unless you are okay with losing the xenons and getting standard reflector lights. However if you have a 172cup those lights should be fine.

I did my headlights a few weeks back. I used 800, 1200 then 2000 wet and dry. Then polished with meguires x scratch and they came up perfect. Just need to put the elbow grease and time in.

google for micromesh sanding pad, they go to 12000 and Novus plastic polish

Spent 10mins with it, and pretty pleased with it.

I had a quick go with 800 then 1000 then 1200, only spent bout 10 mins on each and am pretty pleased so far with them! Im goin 2 do them properly with this NATO polish my mate has coz his headlights were really bad and his are like brand new now
