172 Rear Bumper Cut Out

really this is FAO people who have 172's bumpers with a cutout for the exhaust, using the 182 surround.

basically ive aquired a 172 back bumper, bought a 182 black surround, and was just wondering how did you lot know where to cut the bumper?

basically the place thats making my exhaust i wouldnt trust them to get it right, and i know if i let them do it by guessing they will make it too far to one side, and il never be happy with it. if anyone can tell me how far from the left theirs is cut in, or where it should be, i can make sure its there so it looks right.

also, how do you/would they get the cutout shape right for the surround to fit?

they will have to do it at the same time i reckon mate, otherwise they have to fabricate the back box to fit an exact space.

i would rather trust them to cut the bumper tbh...and any rough edges would be covered by the surround anyway
