172 rear lights problem

Hi guys,just put the ph2 lights on my ph1 they look great,but the only problem is when I hit the break the indicators come on and the lights,I've even put the old ph1 lights back on and it's still doing it any info on this

You have to swop the wires round in the connector DO NOT CUT THEM if you look there is a little plastic flap on the connectors pop this up then use a small screwdriver to press the detent tab on each wire then swop them round to the right order .
