172 seat airbag??

a salvage yard said they hav seats but the airbag has gone of in one?? how the hell can a seat hav an airbag + how wud it save a life??

Full fat clios have them (dynamiques do as well) in the seats not sure how they work but shud imagine they work just like a normal airbag but go off when its a side impact.

havent seen it yet, but does it tear the seat, in other words would i hav to get it repaired?

yeah it rips the stitching out iirc, hell of a job sewing it back up
