Ok this has probably been covered thousands of times but I cant find it, I'm assuming its necessary to take the Air intake off to get at the plugs? and how the hell do you get the oil filter off and out? Im sure theres a special trick but I cant see it.
Cheers in advance

for the oil filter you can take the front plenum off but you dont need to, i didnt have the right socket at my mates the other day so we struggles around it. There is a guide on here for the oil change

and spark plugs you have to take inlet manifold off, also a good guide on here

For the oil filter, if you havent already, remove the fuel rail guard. The cast aluminium bit at the front of the engine. Its only a cover and is held on by two bolts.

Sparkies, as Gaz said.:)

Nope. It is the fuel rail guard.

It simply protects the fuel lines which go into the engine.
