172 side badges

How easy are the side badges on a 172 to remove? To confuse things, i've got a ph1 with ph2 side strips.

Anyone done anything funky with these badges? Or has everyone just kept them normal?

I've got 1.2 badges on the 172 at the mo, and want to make them different.

Was thinking of sanding down the 1.2 bit so they are plain, and respraying them, don't know what colour yet, then possibly with 172 sprayed on.

Anyone got any pics of different badges? Need some inspiration!?!

im stickin with my ph1 172 strips. sprayin the strips black to match car and then paintin the badges either red or yellow or blue to match wateva colour i do the calipers when i can be arsed.

will have a spare set of strips and ph1 172 badges then if anyone wants to buy em off me?

Anyone got a good quality pic of the side of a ph2 silver 172? Might give a photoshop a go.
