172 slight judder when idling

Hey,

My 172 has a slighty judder that can be felt while ticking over. Does anyone have any ideas to what could be causing this?

The top engine mount looks good so its as if its not running quite right.

What fuel are you running it on?

I find mine idles funny when not on super-unleaded?

Forgot to mention the revs don't flicker while its idling they are constent at just under 1k

i run normal unleaded but have treated it to some super before which made no difference to the judder

It's normal mate, they all do it.

Some say super unleaded and V-power much it smoother, it might help slightly but I never noticed the difference.

No they aren't a smooth engine on tick-over, they all do it.

Yeh they all do it. Ive had a 172 sport and 2 172 cup's. They all ran a little lumpy on tick over. Even a brand new one. Dont worry it's normal chap!
