Car  VaVa
Quick speedo vid, film on location @ Fradley Airfield.

Car has ITG Maxogen and Prospeed Cat back and was still cold (:o :o :o )

lol fair point.

Just wanted to have a go at uploading a vid really. I have some on my camcorder of my Zorst, but can get them to transfer. lol.

I don't want to fry my clutch. Although I have recorded a 6.6 on a G-tech thingy.

Besides, midrange is where it's at... How often do you do racing starts to 60 on the road?

did you find any noticeble difference between the std rims and the turinis ali? noticed they are a lot lighter but have yet to drive mine with them on, fitted them and then put it straight in the garage.

I did actually. I found that the car seems very harsh on the rebound compared to the standard rims and a little skittish. Lowering the weight of the wheels is bound ro affect spring/damper relationships.

Hence why I'm considering coilovers.

^ In all honesty, i've not pushed the car to the limit yep, It's very sharp, but mine's lowered and has a strut. I'm getting New dampers soon so not sure. I'm at knockhill next month so i'll let you know.

Feels ok tho....

Turn in was improved - much sharper... Just seemed to lose a little composure over rough surfaces. Which describes most of the roads where I live. lol.

mine's on Eibach Pro springs, but as said I am yet to drive it, will be interesting, expecting it to accelerate a bit faster ( just noticeably ) but didn't think about stability. Out all night tonight though so won't get to try until tomorrow night.

Can't say I've noticed a difference in acceleration. The OE suspension will be tailored to a wheel weight - it's the mass the suspension has to overcome - you hit a bump, the wheel go's up and the suspension must over come this moving mass - if the mass is less, this will be overcome with greater ease and the wheel will be thrown back down again.

that's what i reckon anyways. Could be bs though. lol

^ Makes sence. I'm getting Eibac Pro-dampers all round. Don't think any1's got these on CS :)

Been there done that, i'd only buy leda and i ain't spending 1k! I like my ride height, it's comfy....Coils would ruin the car from a drivability point of view. I've got 2 race cars for handlin! lol

Furry muff.

me too, god we must have been seperated at birth, lol. Mine is more of a weekend car than a day-to-day car so coilovers are the choice for me.

lol... dreamer... If red is such a nice colour, why are there so few of them?

Iceburg suits the Clio far better.

Flame Red comes from the old Celtic saying meaning "Camper than a row of tents"

PMSL, leg-end...It's rare, exclusive to good looking owners! And the old cetic sayin goes "Camper than a row of tents at butlins!" but you were nearly there.

Sportlines and Koni dampers...Its a great setup perfect for the road.
