172 springs on a dci

I have a full set of suspension from my old ph1 172. Would it be an upgrade if I bolted it onto my dci? Or even just fit the springs if the hub spacing is not the same?

think it would be a massive ball ache tbh for little gains

without even looking into it i would be 80% sure that the fitments will be different the springs will not sit right due to the different weights etc

But i maybe wrong never done it or seen it done!

Just for reference, I changed the springs today and they are a vast improvement. Dropped the car an inch and a half and handles a s**t load better.

I wouldn't bother changing the dampers tbh they will be older and more worn.
