172 Standard cd/tape player

I have recently purchased a phase 1 172 and have realised when i have had a cd playing the volume starts to change and get louder as the revs go higher. anyone else had this happen?. its odd because onces it goes loud then u drop down some gears and it goes really quiet again its annoying.

Works for any unit that is equipped for speed controlled volume. SCV.

There is a wire in the DIN power connector for the radio which feeds the pulse counts from the speedo transducer.

Its normally on pin 1 of the DIN power plug.

One more thing if you change over the cd player as well as the display on the cd player would the track listing come up on the top display next to the time?
