172 steering wheel

The 2 plastic bits on the side of the wheel is starting to scrack i went to Vardy's they said it comes part of the steering wheel and doesn't come seperate, it's going to cost about £260 + the raggy t#at for a new steering wheel, so does it come seperate or not?

Ah never in the world , what do you have to do when you replace it ie reseting the air bags?
