172 top mounts

How much is a new set, mine are shagged I think. need to pull them off n see when its dry.

What do you get if its a kit or can u buy seperate parts??

Bout £60-70 each side. Think they come as a set. Not cheap!

nope, identical, i've compared 172 cup, 1.2 16V and V6 and they're all the same (but with different part numbers and the Renault Sport tax on top)

Yes. Different part number means different part maybe higher toleracnes but I expect its just a different compound or somehting.

Maybe the 172 top mounts are lower in quality, due to Renaults thinking that people who own these sorts of cars have more money to spend, who knows, if they look the same and are half the price, take the risk.

How easy is it to change the mounts? How much would it cost at a stealer?

I just paid £57+vat for mine from the stealers. It does not come with the spacer between the bearing and the 17mm nut that holds the top spring plate.

Hang on I'm being a ****. I'm after a price for the engine mounts (not the top mounts - sorry everyone)! If I took it to a stealer how much would it cost (parts and labour) to have all the engine mounts replaced?

How do i tell if these are worn? I tried getting my tracking done and was told they have excessive play, but all seems fine to me.
