172 track car

Spotted this whilst doing a deliver at Nu-phalt. Wondered if the person was on here.

Had a look about it, looked like it had cup doors, ph1 rear and ph2 lights. Looked abused. I like! :evil:

Anyone know any details??

Not really sure why it has 'that' front bumper. Guy that i was delivering to didn't know much about it other than it was "rapid" and "2.2 mate".

Looks well used tbh, not been out in about a year the guy said.

The car is a standard 172 sport with gas coilovers and additional anti-rollbars front and rear. Straight through 2 1/2" exhaust (no cat).Not had it out for over a year but plan to be at Knockhill around May time. Got a couple of jobs to finish off before then. Best time around track 1min03secs. See link below. Cadwell Park 1min50secs. (102db) Latest video was with road car on track 172 cup.
