172 twinpipe exhaust

its a twin pipe oval backbox. looks maybe 3"bore each? think it may be magnex? anyone got pictures of one not fitted to a car or one on a car but underneath.where can i get one to fit my 1.2 16v and how much!

about £450 cat back , not best pic , ill try and get one on the car ( its a mk2 ph3 dynamique) and you can get one fit to your 1.2 16v

can u get just the back box? whats it sound like on your 1.2 or sound like in general? magnex are pretty quiet arent they:

yeah its the same i think they do unizevsal back boxes for abot £99 but not sure it sounds good once its warmed up its quite below about 2.5k then gets noisey err but no boy racer boom , id get a vid but the microphone on my digi cam is rubish, come to FCS and ill show u

Only prob is the tips have melted abit of paint off from the bumper but u cant notice it unlee u lay under the car.

mine is the magnex, its 3.5" and its £330 with cs discount fitted at DemonTweeks, just the backbox is available, don't know how much.

try powerflow, or exhaustsuk if you just want the backbox. otherwise companies like 2modified can just order the backbox for you

I dunno how much a Magnex back box is but I got a custom twin 3" one made for around £150 fitted. Look around and try Powerflow, I hear they are good.

also...as i'm putting a 172 rear bumperon and dont wana have to cut it for the exhaust how much lower will the new one need to be as i dont have the bumper yet. should i just chop a bit of the exhaust pipe for now to make it sit behind the exhaust or should i just drive around without one on OR get it lowered so it sits under my bumper but supposedly the 172 bumpers sit lower than a standard bumper?

Yeah go to powerflow mate, they can pretty much make it sounds you like, with loads of choices for the tail pipe, there is bound to be one you like.. you could also get it cut into the bumper, or left under
