172 - Tyres?

Have a 53 Reg (Jan 04) 172.

Any advice on the best tyres to get hold of, for the fronts, have 195/45/16s (Continental) on there at the mo, can i go any wider on standard alloys?

you can have 205/45/16 on there easy. go for Michelin PE2s really good in the wet!

Conti's, just come home outside temp 3 deg, roads covered in leaves shite etc wet, blasting down country lanes like its dry.

agree with above comment. Best all round tire by a long way!!

PE2's. Knock the conti's into a cocked hat imho for all round ability. Although the contis aren't a bad tyre.

i got michelen pilot primacys recently put on, loads better than my old 1s. person who owned my car b4 couldnt afford good ones so he bought some avons or something!
